Courtney's first passion was art; a hobby that eventually led to a minor in Fine Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, alongside a BA in Psychology. Studying human figures, animal anatomy, and both oil and acrylic paintings for five years throughout her university career. Furthering her educational career, Courtney went on to study and excel in Interior Design at VCAD in Vancouver, BC., where she now resides. Art has always aided in maintaining a sense of sanity for Courtney; especially while studying. She now works as a contract Interior Designer, but keeps the balance by also creating works of art that will transform, or complete a space. Courtney works with charcoal and conte when creating figure drawings and oil or acrylic paint, smoothed over with a resin, for her abstract paintings.
